How much cut? - megs microfiber correction system

I've been using Megs Microfibre correction system with my DAS 6 Pro.
I've been applying moderate pressure, keeping the pads clean and working slow cos I have some pretty nasty swirls and RDS.

I don't have a paint depth gauge so I'm curious how much clear coat I'm taking off?

I know this is pretty vague without a PTG but roughly, how many times could I do this before my clear coat gets too thin?

Here's what i'm up against, my black van, it used to be sign written, looks like someone used a brillo pad to try get it off, and no doubt lots of nasty abuse with a jet wash brush, arrgh
