Deep Crystal Polish vs Clear Coat Safe Polishing Compound

My situation: 90 day old BC/CC virgin paint, dark blue metalic. I would like to start off right in the 5 step process.
The car got caught in a drizzle on the way home from the body shop, there are some light swirl marks in random places.
I'm expecting to be able to skip the clay bar after the wash if I could.
My question:
There is a lot of info about Deep Crystal Polish being a pure polish and a safe choice for clear coats. As the name suggest, Clear Coat Safe Polishing Compound, appears to be a like product.
Where is CCS Polishing Compound in reference to Deep Crystal Polish?

Well, the clay may or may not be needed... there is really no way to say for sure unless you feel the paint and you are confident it feels as smooth as possible.

The Deep Crystal Polish is only polishing oils.

The CCS Polishing Compound is a mild cleaner/polish, so will have some ability to remove mild swirls if applied with some passion. Although it will be quite mild, may not be able to remove a lot.

Thanks Murr1525, believe it or not the closest bottle of DC polish is about 60 miles from here by internet search, (difficult to believe in a city this size) so the CCS Polish Compound is a substitute.

Is CCS Polishing compound brand new? the Auto Zone was promoting it as new, maybe new to them?

The CCS Polishing Compound was new last year, but not too common I dont think.

Really, the Ultimate Polish is the more common product, and most likely quite good for your situation also. Will be quite mild, so a little defect removal but not much, better chance of removal if used by machine..

Incidently, the CCS Compounds are hand only, if that matteed.

After washing the paint has areas of non-smooth "to the touch", places surrounded by glass like smoothness. these areas are not visible but easily detected. The roof almost is entirety in need of clay, vertical surfaces not so much. Going to give Smooth Surface Clay Kit a try first.
