  • D114 strong solution to strip LSP

Any solution strong enough has the ability to strip wax. I am getting ready for winter prep and was going to give my car a nice rinseless wash with d114. Can a strong enough solution strip the sealant on my car? Lets say using 3 oz of d114 to 2 gallons of water??

    Thanks

I thought the idea of D114 was that it didn't remove wax, and actually boosted your wax protection..

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

The D114 doesnt have wax like the Spray and Wax does.

But yeah, not really sure why worried about removing wax with your soap. Your other steps can take care of that.

I vaguely recalled Mr. Stoop said 2oz per gallon of D114 is too much and could strip wax. I won't worry too much about stripping wax with wash though. If you are going to clay bar, that will strip the wax and prep the surface nice for your new layer of wax/sealant.

Ok glad someone else remembered. I recall him saying that awhile ago, so that is what sparked the idea.
