  • Meguaires Leather Cream

I have an old bottle of Meguiars Leather Cleaner and Conditioner. I bought it by mistake a few years ago since I thought it was a refill for the spray. I recalled at the time, the cream and spray were named the same.

I tried the cream when I first bought it and did not like it. The cream would solidify inside the tiny holes of the perforated leather. It was a pain to use a tooth pick to take out the cream, hole by hole.

Before I throw it away, can someone please tell me if there is a trick to apply this product to perforated leather?

put a little on a towle, rub it in then wipe on the leather.
    Use as little as possible.

I tried but I still saw some cream got stuck inside the holes. Had to bring out the tooth-pick again.

Finally, I applied the spray to the perforated parts and applied the cream to the rest of the seat.

Based on my experience, the cream is not designed for perforated leather.

The exact same thing happened to me a few years back when I first tried this product. It was the first and only time I have been unsatisfied with a Meguiars product, but I suspect it was because the product was not intended for perforated leather.

        I haven't used it since

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

          Good. I am not alone.

Too bad, I feel that the cream protects the leather better. I can actually see the leather absorbs the cream slowly.

Yeah, the gel is really the one for perforated leather.

Although if you enjoy applying a product heavily so it soaks in, I suppose the gel could dry solid also.
