Having kept the interiors of my two cars vacuumed and clean for the past month, the next phase of car care for me is keeping the dashboard and plastic in good shape. I've always used a regular lysol wipe to keep dust off.
I'm not sure if this is good or not. Sorry to say I haven't done it enough to cause much damage if it isn't good. Is there a product that is recommended to use on the dashboard and other plastic materials in the interior? I'd like to not only keep off dust, but to preserve the color and prolong the life of the dashboard as well (I've ridden in older cars with cracked dashboards before--it looks like junk and I don't want that if I can avoid it).
Ideally I'd like to use only ONE product for everything interior, be it a wipe or some type of spray/foam.
I don't necessarily need anything to remove junk that has dried onto the cup holders--I can just use these lysol wipes and elbow grease. What I'm looking for is something that will keep a clean surface intact and looking good.
What do you folks recommend?
