Ok so I usually stick with gc wax or nxt but tried uw for the first time &I gotta say I do like it & it was as easy if not easier to apply & take off as nxt. But I have problems removing up so I used a quick detailer to aid in this damping the mf with it so will this compromise any of the benefits that up provides? I hope not because it was much easier &I still got the results I expect from up. Also I don't know about the protection from uw but it did give me the show car look I was going for. Any comments welcome thanks in advance

Re: Uw & up
Using a QD to remove UP will not harm anything. The real question is why was it so hard to remove?
How much did you use / how long did you work it / did you let it dry?
If by "protection from UW" you mean its durability, then UW is Meguiars' most durable sealant.Originally posted by BluelineI own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
