I have tried Maguiars Plastic Restore as well as some Mothers Back to Black and I am still unable to correct the problem with these mud guards. Any suggestions?
We don't have a product with that specific name - are you talking about Gold Class Trim Detailer or maybe Ultimate Protectant? In either case, we'd recommend cleaning the area thoroughly with M39 Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner or a good All Purpose Cleaner, allow it dry fully, then apply a small amount of Ultimate Black and work it in very thoroughly. There should be no excess to wipe off if you use it properly (ie, sparingly) and it will dry completely dry to the touch.

In anycase, cleaning the mudflaps with APC+ or super degreaser, dry, then applying a couple coats should fix that dullness.......yea a little bit of product goes along ways, maybe a quarter size blob on a foam pad?
