I'm new here because I need help. I did a marine wax on my Prelude 1991. Since then, when it's raining, the water is staying on the car until they dries out. The problem is that it leave HUGE water marks (1 inch in diameter sometime) and it seems to be type3 water spots (big white spots deep under the paint). It's exaclty like this: http://www.autogeekonline.net/galler...WaterSpots.jpg But why i'm having this problem? My car has been repainted and i'm pretty sure it's a single stage paint.
Vinegar is usless to remove these spots, unless it's staying on the spot for a long time. Wet sanding works and rubbing compound too (but A LOT of work and heat needed). They are deep in the paint.
Jig-A-Loo: I need to shoot each spots (and there is over 500 of them) individually if I want them to disappear. I let the Jig-A-Loo like 5 seconds on the spot and then wipe it off. If I let it on too long, it seems to "melt" the paint and make "moon craters" in the paint.
What I use: Turtle Wax heavy duty rubbing compound, Meguiar's Ultimate compound and Turtle Wax wax. Even after a coat of wax on the hood, water spots are eating my paint after each rain...

I hope you guys can help me, I want to keep my first car clean!!
Sorry for my bad english
