Quick Interior Detailer and APC

Two quick questions:

1: Is it okay to use Ultimate Protectant after using Quick Interior Deatailer on interior plastics, or should I scrub it with 10:1 All Purpose Cleaner first?

2: I am going to "shampoo" my upholstery with All Purpose Cleaner using my Shop-Vac as the extractor. How far shoudl I dilute the All Purpose Cleaner?

On a side note, I got a 4" white brush for my Porter Cable that I am going to use on the carpets. I used it on a stain on the carpet in the house and it looks promising.

1. Yes, QID is ok first if just a dusting was needed.

2. I use around 8:1 for everything, but could do a little test spot yourself first.
