  • Under carriage rinse, SD question.

It's been a rough semester for my HHR, looking to do a rinse of the under carriage. I have SD on hand, but was wondering what dilution to use. Mostly dirt, although I do have a small oil leak which has cakes a bit over the last year or so. I also don't want to harm (if it's possible) my bushings/CV boots.

I want to be able to spray on, wait, rinse off and come out as clean as possible.

    Thanks

Dilute at 4:1 with water, spray on, let dwell, then hit with a pressure washer if you can. You may need to get to that leak spot a bit with some sort of brush to agitate as needed.

Thanks! It worked pretty good, I'll give it another once over tomorrow morning and It should be back to normal under there!

If you can, use a pump up pesticide sprayer. Much less fatigue than a spray bottle.
