So I was trying to remove a very faded white stain off of my plastic that I put on there last fall when I was compounding/polishing the whole truck. I thought I had enough tape on there for some margin of error with the D/A, but apparently not!
I used APC+, not sure of the exact dilution as I have added some water without adding product because I was running low at the time. The dilution won't help the issue though I don't think. After I sprayed the APC+ on the plastic, I scrubbed it with a somewhat stiff bristled brush for a few seconds, and wiped it clean.
It did remove the white stain, but now I am left with a spot that is brighter and has less gloss than everything else... I have tried multiple coats of Adams Super VRT which is what I have been using on the plastic. I've also tried a coat of Ultimate Liquid Wax, but I just can't get the spot to blend in. It is so obvious it is there too when you actually see it in person.
What am I going to have to do? Scrub the whole piece of plastic under the tailgate to get it even looking and then go from there?
If you can't see it on here, refer to the picture below this one as I have outlined the messed up area. Hopefully then you will be able to see it.

If you follow the black lines in an upward direction, they will lead to to various "streaks" from the APC+.
