First off im working by hand until I buy a PC or take my car to a professional. Until then I want it to look the best that it can. The car is a black 07 IS250 with many swirls and scratches. Im going to clay first, then am looking for some kinda of cleaner/polish/AIO before I give UW a try for the first time. Ive currently been using autoglym SRP and applied a carnauba over it. But im looking to try some new products. I know im not going to get alot of these scratches and swirls out by hand which is fine. Im looking for something that will fill, maybe remove some minor imperfections, and clean the surface. Im not looking to scratch x the whole car, been down that road by hand and it leaves hazing. So something thats not as abbraisive, maybe megs 6 or 9 2.0??

Re: Which cleaner/polish/AIO before Ultimate Wax?
Was it ScratchX 2.0 that you used? Can you say about how you applied it, what with, etc?
Depending on what caused the hazing, you will could cuase it with other products. Or the product may have been too strong, but just to make sure.
Anyway, I would go with ColorX if you just want a basic detail. #6 or #66 are close, sometimes harder to find, but ok if you do.
#9 is a cleaner/polish, so not really an AIO, but a good product. SwirlX or Ult. Polish are also good cleaner/polishes. But would want two coats of the Ult. Wax after them to get the recomended 2 coats. The ColorX type products would just need one.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue
