  • which product for these scratches?

Well I'm sure this question was asked millions of times but I would like to be sure which product use for my specific pain finish problem. Some days ago cleaning my car with UQD I discovered a kind of scratch I never seen before on a part of my paint.. it's only in a little part of the hood+wheel arch.. arround 3 square centimeters (sorry I'm european..).. and it's like somebody tried to clean something on my paint with a slighty abrahsive sponge!! definitely rubbing some (if not all!) clear coat.. it's feels different even when you pass your finger on it than in the other part of the finish. so they are kind of tiny little scratches.. and it's best to see with the right light orientation (do you know what I mean?). Well I was pretty surpised to have noticed now.. and really don't know how could have happened, I never remember I was so aggressive with something in that part of the car.. and the problem is really only there in that little spot.. like it was done with pourpuose..
so.. ok.. watching meguiar's website I think the only choices I can have are Swirl X, Scratch X 2.0 or Ultimate Compound..
I don't think Swirl X could be the right.. aren't really swirls so.. I passed to watch Scratch X 2.0 and I like it.. it's specifically made for little applications but watching this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2L74hQWMBg they use for real scratches.. and my problems looks like more like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6LDP-gDC8w it's the right product or should I definitely use Ultimate Compound? UC is the most aggressive than the 3 right?..

sorry.. really no luck with photos.. I need directly sun light and a better camera.. nothing to see in the photos I made.
Anyway as I told the scratch looks pretty much like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6LDP-gDC8w and to make you understand I told that you can imagine to take a sponge that you use to wash dishes for example and try to pass over the paint of your car like if you want to clean something.. the result will be that you will scratch all the clear coat.. and this is what looks like. Any advice?

UC or ScratchX 2.0 would be good options for that. I tend to go UC. It is a little stronger, and you get more product for a little more money (though I dont know your prices. If it is expensive, ScratchX is fine.)

well.. if you tell me that UC is more strong than ScratchX .. I think I will try ScratchX eheheh because I don't want risk to damage my paint or use it wrong.. I will apply with foam pad.. which pressure should I apply?

That is kind of another reason I like the UC.

The products like SwirlX/ScratchX 2.0/UC are mild/medium/strong, but then you can also apply them lightly, medium, or with a lot of effort/pressure. So you can make UC mild, or SwirlX stronger. UC applied with a lot of pressure/effort would of course be the strongest combo.

So nothing wrong with starting off mild, and getting stronger if needed. They will need worked in to remove defects, so more pressure/passion than a wax. Think of it like sanding wood, or scrubbing dishes. Some pressure and speed, but not breaking things or digging in.
