What is the difference between #M205 and Ultimate Polish? I have the Ultimate Polish but am reading in threads that I may want to use #M205. I have a new truck.

Re: #M205 vs. Ultimate Polish
Ult Polish is milder with more polishing oils. #205 is stronger with less polishing oils.
Keep in mind that as far as 'strength', both products are on the very mild end of the spectrum. Both would be suited for a new vehicle, esp with no defects. #205 might be prefered if very mild swirls or something.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

I know that Ultimate Polish is derived from M205. Ultimate Polish just has more oils in it for longer work time.
I'm pretty confident that the above is true. M205 also has a little more cut than UP I think, but either way don't worry about that. I don't think you could really visually see the difference between the two. Very similar products. The way I see it, M205 would be ideal for people who like to buy bulk, and UP for your average Joe weekend detailer.Always searching for the best....Keep it country!

if we just compare the aggressiveness not the glossy, what is the aggressiveness order of UP ? between SwirlX and M205 or right side of M205 ?2011 Car Crazy Showcase SEMA Team

Re: #M205 vs. Ultimate Polish
Hmm, Thank You Marc08EX,, But i dont know which one is good for me, UP with hand apply, or M205 with Rotary Buffer
Because UP Designed for hand use or DA
Actually; i know that UC and SwirlX not designed to use with Rotary Buffer, But today i used both with Rotary buffer and the result was good, not best because i all swirl gone bur haze comebut i solve the problem by second apply swirlX by meg yellow hand ped, Meg dont recomend use rotary buffer with UC and SwirlX because of the heat that rotary buffer create, so if you set the speed like 1000-1500 rpm, and if your pad design getting cooler when turning (wave style like 3M polishing and finishing Pads) you can safely use rotary and you can get really good result at the end of the day,,
