It is certainly possible UC was too strong. Which would also explain the Ult. Polish helping after.

However those kind of marks tend to come from fingers pushing into the paint, which is pretty much not possible with a machine.

Unless it came from realy working the towel in...

Hmm.. and none of that was there before? You have had it for a while, nothing ever showed up?

It would look like a rotary buffer worked it over.

But if you have had it or a while, and no one ever worked on it... then that would mean UC was way too strong. I would want to start with SwirlX on polishing pad. That would have some cleaning ability, but milder.

Ok since i put UC and UP on my car already. How can i do this over again? Just polish it back over again? Or spray some quick detailer on and wipe off then do it again? I wanna do it over again and work into it longer. and should i buy another microfiber towel because my towel feels really weak. Its ultrasoft microfiber towel i bought from autozone.

Judging from this post, did you rush it? Were you working in the sun? Did you apply to much pressure to achieve this result? I just have a lot of questions. We are here to help.

You could try some cleaner wax to remove the residue

wells back then i clayed my car and put some wax on my car , thats about it. Should i clay my car hood over again and do it over to see if those things go away? im afraid that I didnt clay my car and when i put UC on my car and wiped it with the microfiber towel , the towel just drags all the dirt and stuff. I mean my hood is smooth when i washed my car thats why I didnt clay it.
