Matte Wrap vs. Snow/Salt

I did a quick search on the forum and found out that you're not supposed to wash/polish a matte paint/wrap. But what about snow/salt? If you have a car wrapped in matte vinyl and you drive around all winter and it now looks like a black - white gradient, what's the best way to clean it? Does the snow/salt have to cleaned off as early as possible or can they sit until the spring?

Polish? No. Wash and protect? Absolutely. Meguiar's owns the Wraptivo line of vinyl wraps, and Mike Stoops put together a nice article on how to maintain your investment:

If you want matte black maybe look into the 3M products

but it sure seems like everyone and their mother has a matte black car these days...
at least that is how it is in Southern California
