  • Looking for Mequires version of this product

Hello all,I was given Mothers Back to Black as a christmas gift.I prefer Mequires for most of my car care. The mothers worked really well on the exteroir plastic black trim around my truck. It seem to bring it back to like new finish, thou it wasnt that bad to begin with. What is a suggested mequires exterior product that brings the shine a fresh new look back to exterior trim- bumpers- plastic trim exterior stuff like that.I understand most of these type products only last for awhile depending on outside conditions.

    Thanks for any help /advice.

In the consumer version there is this: Ultimate Black used to be called Ultimate Protectant.

Ultimate Protectant is the more advanced formula which is supposed to be megs longest lasting protectant/trim detailer. Another option but not as long lasting is gold class trim detailer

I have had the best results with D4510 Plastic & Vinyl Coating from the Detailer line. I find that it dries fast, doesn't streak from rain or dew and lasts longer.

I believe Ultimate Black and Ultimate Protectant are two different products. I can say with confidence that UP is a great product and I would highly recommend it. I have it in the liquid form that you put on a foam applicator. I have used it many many times and still have plenty left because a small amount about the size of a quarter goes a long way. I used to use Back to Black but I find UP is far superior.

How about the new Tire and Trim Gel? Might wanna give that a try and post up your results.
