PPI of Meg's Softbuff 2.0 polishing and finishing pads?
Alight gang
Filling everything up in 24oz bottles
So here goes
1:10 = 2oz of product
1:20 = 1 oz of product
1:34= .75 o / 22.5 ml of product
6 oz to 1 gallon
For 24 ounces, it would be 34 ml of product in a 24 oz container
1 oz to 2 gallon
For 24 ounces, it would be 5.4ml of...
"fishing for swirls in a sea of black"

We don't actually advertise the PPI of our pads because people tend to get hung up on that one aspect when, in reality, there is so much more that goes into a foam pad than this one spec. You could have two foam pads of the same PPI that would perform quite differently from one another several other specs were different from one to the other: "open" versus "closed" cell, pad diameter, pad thickness being just some of those potentially different specs.

Makes sense, Michael.
On a different note, what's the diameter of the velcro loop on the 4" softbuff 2.0 pads?

+1 Never even given it a thought tbh. I've never discussed the PPI between different pads only when seeking advice I ask questions along the lines of "How do they compare with XXX?" and "what do they feel like in use? or "what are the levels of cut like?". I mean the most aggressive pads, wool, don't even have any pores so it seems a bit of a strange thing to consider when looking at pads.

You'd think, wouldn't you? But when it comes to wool people start asking about whether it's twisted, synthetic, etc. Again, that's a single spec of many that make up the product. We're always fine with people asking the questions though, and we certainly appreciate the desire to understand how things are made, how they do what they do, etc.
