  • Quick Interior Detailer Cleaner before Ult. Protect???

    Hi All

I want to clean and protect dashboard of my brand new car for first time. (it's cream)
I forgot to buy any APC. may i apply Quick interior detailer cleaner as cleaner before Ult. Protect?
As i remember, for best result, we need a totally clean surface before applying Ult. Protect.

    Thanks . . .

i have to add that there is no visible dirt or blot on dashboard. i wiped dust by moist cotton towel, but just for any probably invisible pollution or dirt i want to clean it before Ult. Protectant.
      Sorry for multiply posts

I would say it is best to use APC before Ultimate Protectant to ensure the best bonding possible.

I think the products you have are just fine -- usually the dashboards don't get tremendously dirty since most people don't touch the dash very often, and the inside of a car isn't normally too dusty. I would use the quick interior detailer then follow it up with the Ultimate Protectant, or the Natural shine if you want a little bit less gloss.

what Shawn suggested: APC or APC+ would be best to use but I think Quik Interior Detailer Cleaner would be okay as well.

Or a damp rag with a drop of dish soap if you needed something stronger than QID, but I doubt you would, unless the dealer put something on that needed removed.
