Having hard water stains on a VW,I am curios to know if a forum member tried a mixture of white vinegar and baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) on car glass.

You could try the vinegar mix but if there's no improvement try to clay your glass and use a product with cleaning ability: SwirlX, Ultimate Compound, etc either by hand or machine. -

Vinegar alone should work fine. Soak several paper towels in it, try to get them to stick on the glass. They should be left on for at least 5 minutes. The spots will soften and you can just wipe them off.Comment
