  • Hard water stains

Having hard water stains on a VW,I am curios to know if a forum member tried a mixture of white vinegar and baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) on car glass.

    Thanks.

You could try the vinegar mix but if there's no improvement try to clay your glass and use a product with cleaning ability: SwirlX, Ultimate Compound, etc either by hand or machine.

Vinegar alone should work fine. Soak several paper towels in it, try to get them to stick on the glass. They should be left on for at least 5 minutes. The spots will soften and you can just wipe them off.
