I bought the clay for my new ride. (1993 Corvette) Once I fully wash the car and dry it off, do I first apply the Quick Detailer around the whole car without using clay?

The quick detailer included in the Smooth Surface Clay Kit will be used as a lubricant for the clay bar. You only apply the quick detailer on the section you're going to work the clay on and then wipe off after you're done. no, i don't think there's any reason for doing that... at least, with meguiar QD, after washing and drying, you can immediately go to claying while spraying QD at the same time section by section...Proud to be part of Meguiars FamilyComment
