You dont wax new paint but "its ok to use NXT"? Wouldn't a sealant be even worse? Or at least in the same boat....they would prevent the Out-Gassing and final cure of the paint. Seems sketchy to me

We don't see where anyone said "its ok to use NXT" - where did you see that? We specifically said:

Even on a freshly painted car you should see no issues when using this product. Note that does NOT mean we recommend using NXT 2.0 on fresh paint, just that if you did do so it shouldn't appear any different than applying it to paint of any age. Again, we recommend allowing a freshly sprayed aftermarket paint job some 60 to 90 days to out gas before applying a wax or sealant - just to be clear there.

Now, the first part of that quote references the OP's comment about "such a mess" and we mistook that for meaning his paint somehow looked terrible after applying the NXT. He subsequently clarified that all he meant was that he had used so many different products in his process. So our comment centered on, even though we don't recommend it, you wouldn't see an immediate difference in the paint right after applying NXT. Which is why our last statement reiterated our stance - no wax or sealant for 60 to 90 days following a respray.
