  • Headlight Difficulty

Using the Heavy Duty Headlight Restoration Kit, I did the two headlights of a car yesterday. Using the same process on both headlights, they looked vastly improved and both look clear and both are very smooth. However, when viewed from a distance one headlight has a slight yellowish tint when compared to the other headlight. At the start, they both looked the same and nearly opaque. The owner said they had tried something before, but it was a very short lived cure for this Honda.

Should I repeat the entire process on the yellow headlight?

Or should I just keep at the yellow one with PlastX?

The sanding discs fit on the backing plate of the new MFDA Correction System backing plate. May a DA be used in the sanding process?

If a DA may be used, what speed would you set the DA? Would you keep the disc and headlight dripping with water or just moist?

    As always, thanks.
