  • Spider Web scratches still...

After claying, applying #7 and one coat of NXT wax I still have some spider webs. These scratches are very small and only noticeable when in direct sunlight. Is there a product that will get these out? I will be applying another coat of NXT wax. Is colorX my solution? I applied all the waxes by hand, not by PC.

    Thanks guys

    Hi 99BlackStangMan

    I love this smilie,

    That said,

If you really want to remove all of those fine cobweb scratches from your finish, your realistically going to have to polish your paint using the PC.

Climb on board this PC thread and subscribe to it. When the details are worked out I'll be making an announcement. The package deal will probably be on a Friday, for about 3 hours through our customer care hotline.

If you know anyone interested in picking up a PC for a good price with Meguiar's lifetime, no questions asked warranty, then tell them about this upcoming offer...

Hi all, To anyone thinking about purchasing a Porter Cable Dual Action polisher, if you can hold off your purchase until sometime next week, Meguiar's is putting together a Package Deal for members of Meguiar's Online. We will be bundling a collection of products into this package so that you will have everything you need

Besides that, you can try applying another coat of Tech Wax and then inspecting. If this doesn't fix the problem the a machine applied paint cleaner or cleaner/polish will be required.

      Hi 99BlackStangMan,
I agree with Mike on the PC...If you can afford it, it would be a good investment.

With that said, there are some people on the forums that have removed swirls by hand using various cleaners...ColorX should help remove some swirls, and you could also try Medallion Premium Paint Cleaner too (It's a little stronger than ColorX).

If you want to try the hand method, be prepared to work some arm muscles!...But my 1st choice would be the PC.
