I'd stick to the DA and change the product you're using. Try ScratchX (less aggressive) or Ultimate Compound (more aggressive).

How are you using the DA? Have you watched the how-to videos?

Unless you're experienced with a rotary, be very careful using one, as you can damage your paint!

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

There are a lot of variables when choosing any liquid, so we'd like to know a few more things about your current process:
      • What speed are you running at?
      • What pad are you using?
      • How large an area are you working on?
      • How much pressure are you putting down on the pad?
Changing any of these can increase or decrease the overall cutting ability of any liquid. Let's sort this out first before you move on to a rotary, where things can go sideways pretty quickly if you aren't experienced. You've tried just a single, moderate product on the DA, there's a whole big world of options still available to you with that tool.

Re: DA VS rotary polisher in black paint

i started my regiment as on you open garage

        i washed top to bottom
clayed the the car it removed some of the defects
        then i washed again
then i proceed with the da using medium cut cleaner
then its removed some of the deep defects in the paint but there are those darn etched watcher marks
so i was going to proceed to use number 83 with a rotary and if that didnt work go to a cutting pad with diamond cut to get to then polish protect

so i want to ask the pros and enthusiast

thanks guys i reall wanna havea nice truck to show off to my clients
