  • Just tried UWW

Just tried UWW for the first time and while the washing experience was great, the result was just OK. The car was somewhere shiny but the wheels were dull. I applied UQW to the wheels and it bought back the shine to the wheels. I then applied UQW to the whole car and it's much better.

My car is silver and is in great condition. I just put 2 coats of UW last week including the wheels. My usual wash is GC Wash, followed by UQW. So far, it looks to me that I still need UQW after UWW.

I've never had an issue with Ultimate Wash and wax. It is my go to Wash. I love every bit about it. Them smell and the product itself. Always adds a nice touch to a vehicle.

Nothing wrong with it at all. It is good in the wash part, not so much in the wax part.

Since I still have to UQW afterward, so far I don't see the value of UWW. I will try again and report later.

UQW is awesome, best spray wax ever. UWW is a good maintenance wash.

I can't say UWW is a better soap than any other Megs soap, regardless of which Megs soap I decide to use, I cannot tell on my 2 white cars or my silver green van, turns out nice & clean all the time....I just picked up a gallon of Hyper wash....I think it could be the most economical, only one oz per 5 gallons of water.........I aways UQW or UQD after washing anyways.
I still have a full bottle of UWW & a gallon of GC too....but I know I will not be buying more UWW as I too do not see the value in it

            Re: Just tried UWW

I read that with UWW, I would not need the UQW after the wash. This does not work for us maybe because we are fussy people!

I did notice that there was not enough shine on my car but this could be deceiving due to the angle, the light, etc. However, the wheels were definitely dull. This was why I applied UQW to the wheels and ended up doing the whole car.

So far, GC-Wash and UQW gives me the best results all the time.
