  • swirl remover

on my next car washing day, i'll be trying to remove swirl on my silverstone car for the first time.
What's the best product to do with? i have scratch X and M105. If these aren't good, any other suggestions?
This will most likely be done with PowerBall attached to a drill.
    thanks~

As you are Irvine, have you been to a Thursday or Saturday class yet?

      Re: swirl remover

PowerBall 4 Paint is rather suitable for polishing and waxing (gloss restoration and protection) but not defect removal. Probably you would get better results (removing swirls) working by hand with soft foam applicator.

Both products which you listed are capable of removing swirls. Your paint hardness and depth of swirls would determine which works better. It's always good to start with less aggressive product first, in your case it's ScratchX 2.0 , and do a little test spot on 2' x 2' area. If satisfied you just repeat the whole process on entire vehicle.

There are two more products which work great as swirl removers: SwirlX (cleaner/ polish) and Ultimate Compound (cleaner/ compound).

As Mat (Murr1525) said above, take advantage of Meguiar's Garage detailing classes, especially that you're right in Irvine. You're gonna learn from The Best.
