M205 as Aluminum polish?

I am working on an enclosed car hauler & the front corners have smooth aluminum, I removed the defects & its polished up like chrome.... Til the sun shines directly on it, then I can see many tiny buffer trails/holograms which I am having a tough time removing. I am wondering if M205 works to finish aluminum?

It is not intended for that purpose, but many have tried it with great results. Try a test spot in an inconspicuous location and see for yourself
