Has anyone compared Ultimate Polish vs #205 vs #301 ?

D301
Ultimate Polish
Gloss (from most to least):
Ultimate Polish
M205 = D301 (as per my experience so far)
D301 - Cleaner/ Wax - D/A, hand
M205 - Cleaner/ Polish - rotary, D/A, orbital, hand
Ultimate Polish - Cleaner/ Polish - D/A, orbital, hand.

Ultimate Polish is based on M205 but UP has more polishing oils were as M205 has more cleaning and refining abilities. D301 is a light duty cleaner wax, especially used in conjunction with the microfiber finishing disc, so it's really quite a bit different from the other two.
UP may well give more gloss on a darker color, but if you're using a rotary for finishing them M205 on a foam finishing pad can do wonders for clarity of the finish.Michael Stoops

No rotary for this guy. I ruined paint on one Cadillac and not about to do it again. DA for me.
