  • Ford F150 Platinum wheels

Hello, new to the forums and have a few questions. I have a F150 Ford Platinum and I think the wheels are clear coated aluminum. The wheels are looking dulled out and I cannot make them look like they did when they were new! Any advise on what to use or do? I tried waxing them and it was a disaster! The paint is also tri coat metallic and would really like it to pop any do and don't for it? I love Mequiar's products, it is all I use anymore. I love the ultimate spray wax! Thanks for any help in advance!!

What do you mean by a "disaster" from waxing? Better be sure of the wheel finish before you do anything. Wax the tri-coat with any Meguiar's wax depending on the condition of the finish, I'd be tempted to start with ColorX and then wax again in a few weeks using Ultimate Liquid Wax.
