do you guys wash your micro towels or toss them?

    do you guys wash your micro towels or toss them?

    Do you guys wash your micro and terry towels or toss them. If you wash how do you go on washing them. Do u wash them in your house washing machine and dryer or go to the local laundry mat. Also can I toss my polishing pads in there. How do you guys wash your pads.

    My good towels that touch paint and glass get hand washed. My junk towels fopreverything else get chucked (ie wheels, wells, exhaust, tar spots)

      I use a microfiber soap to wash all my MFs and pads.

      I use a large pail (5 g), let it soak for a few hours, then rinse off the cloths & pads, good as new.
      I also hang them to dry...

        I wash my MF towels in a local laundrymat. I don't like to leave any polish or wax residue in our own washer.

        You can also toss your foam pads in there.

          For MF I just hand wash, toweling that are NOT loaded with real bad grunge...in the washer. Hang up the MF to dry, 'towels' into the dryer. MF stuff doesn't always play well with the heat of a dryer.

          I WOULD use the washing machine, but ever since I got caught using the dish-washer for some really dirty wrenches and the like, I'm no longer granted permission to use this equipment...LOL.

            I soak my MF towels and all my pads in a bucket of an oxygen cleaner solution. It just amazes me how dirty the water gets. Stubborn spots may need a little scrubbing with a natural fiber vegetable brush. After a thorough rinse I'll hang up to dry. For terry towels and my cheaper MF's, I'll use the washer, but I'll always air dry MF towels, as I don't want them contaminated by residual fabric softener from the dryer sheets my wife always uses for the regular laundry.
