  • tiny rust slivers in paint

    can anyone tell me how to get rid of very tiny rust spots in the paint that look like slivers. I believe they are from disk break residue from other cars.

    Clay and a paint cleaner would be the place to start.

      Raildust- And they're probably from your car...

      I'll be cleaning them off the Camry this weekend.

        clay, then rewax the area. I have a white ram and have been going through this every season

          Does it look like the pictures from this thread:
          I've probably encountered this 3 times already and it's driving me nuts... Before I clay the car, I don't see any visual embedded contaminants but I can definitely feel them in the paint. So I start to clay the car and spots like these instantly show up!!! Please remember I don't see these things before I clay the


          If so then clay will remove it
