  • Removing wax..

I recently had my car washed by a buddy of mine at one of those drive thru wash places. I don't know if they put on a spray wax or not. If they did how would you remove the wax on the car to put new wax on? would it come off when i clay the car? any answers appreciated.

The drive thru car wash wax that they use isn't much of a wax at all.
Just wash it real good and you should be fine.
If your paint is smooth and clayed recently you should not have to clay.

You could clay, but generally you would use a cleaner or cleaner/wax to prep the paint. As mentioned above, clay may or may not be needed.
