Is Meguiar's QD good for drying after washing?

Is Meguiar's QD good for drying after washing?
Or does it cause smears and there are more suitable products to help with drying, to prevent water spots?

If UQW also works in that situation, good, because most times I won't have time for anything more than drying - and buffing the film of UQW that would leave.

UQW shouldnt be leaving a film/residue, used when drying or used after the car is dry.

the best ive ever tried, after washing the car with Gold class shampoo, and even in the hot weather, i use QD and believe me ..it gives it the perfect shine..and will remove also the dried water spots...

ok, so 99% of it goes on the drying towel, but maybe just a thinnn film, like 1% more than the QD would leave. I mean something that slicks the surface a bit when you're doing the final wipes to dry.

Yeah, the UQW will leave wax behind.

I mean that compared to something like the Quick Wax, or Nxt Spray Wax that there wont be a dried wax residue to come back around and wipe off.

Unless you applied it too heavy I guess.

What about UQD? I like to use it after doing the flooding technique (removing the nozzle from the hose and letting a steady stream of water remove most of the water remaining on the surface by letting gravity do the work).

UQD should help as it is really tough to make the stuff streak and might be that perfect solution between QD and UQW.

Any spray detailer will work well. UQD to dry followed with UQW afterwards................watch out for the slickness!!
