Ultimate Polish Vs D301

Which one is more aggressive? Yes i am aware that UP does not have any wax in it and D301 does. On my Black car I always get some unwanted microscopic scratches and wondering which polish is least aggressive since they both do the job for me.Using UP is additional step since car has to be sealed (waxed) afterwords unlike D301.In either case I still use Gold class paste wax.I think my scratches are induced with Cal duster. Time to wash it.

They are totally two different products. One's a finishing wax the other a polish. That being said, UP might remove some light scratches (maybe), but if
your goal is to remove light swirls and or scratches there are other products probably better suited. ala SwirlX, Scratchx 2.0 or possibly even M205 ultra finishing polish, which is similar to UP, but with a bit more cleaning/cutting ability.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

If your car isn't bad, meaning UC not needed then UP is the way to get your black car right.
Nothing better, I swear by the stuff.
I've ALWAYS used 3M Fine machine Polish and here to say that UP is better, yes better, the results are amazing.
Removes light swirles leaving behind an outstanding shine, top it off with UW.
Well, that's how this long time detailer does it.

Well, that's how this long time detailer does it.

Car was all done 3 wks ago using Microfiber system. I swear by it, in this case Car in garage 150 watt ceiling flood light decided to break (glass fell out of its base) and fell on car roof and broken glass all over my clean hood. Gently picked up large pieces and used compressor to blow the rest of the glass off. It left few fine scratches on the hood but nothing UP could not take care of. All is fine NOW.
