  • Wool Pad and M105

    Hey all,
I have been using M105 and the wool pad combo on a number of cars but should I be using something like W8207 finishing pad for a softer cut depending on the car? I used a wool pad 105 combo on a 2009 holden ute but there are spiderwebs still on a number of panels.

    Re: Wool Pad and M105

M105 with a rotary and wool is definitely not something you should ever expect to finish swirl/hologram-free. The wool alone will leave holograms.

M105 will on occasion finish LSP-ready, but usually only with a dual-action polisher and a polishing pad.

You should expect to follow M105/wool with M205 and either a polishing pad or a finishing pad. You will need to do test spots and decide accordingly.
