Hi, I have a 2006 hyundai sonata, i've been delivering newspapers for 4 years, about 2 with this car and I'm looking to give it a real good clean.
I've been washing it once it starts to look pretty dirty (coated) in road grime, takes a week or so.
I've never waxed it and normally start with a rinse, then scrub by hand til everything looks free of grime, bugs dirt etc.
From reading these forums I'm trying to figure out the process of cleaning, and I do have some cobweb/swirls on the top of my trunk lid, minor scratches around the car (maybe chips, black stuff under the paint) and don't know about the overall look of the rest of the paint.
I plan on giving it a regular wash, then dry, clay, - then i'm not sure how it goes, ultimate compound or swirlx/scratchx/polish and maybe sealant?
finishing with a wax.
I also am not sure how to maintain my wheels, they're either alloy, aluminum, or painted, they're silver, and I think they'res oxidation or chipping which has exposed a white surface underneath the silver.
just looking for the best clean
don't mind doing it once a week, thanks.
