On the bottle of my deep crystal polish it says to apply, let dry and then remove. I thought you did not let polish dry, only wax?

You must have found an old bottle. A year or so ago there was a typo on the labels.
You would apply and remove while still wet. However, DC2 shouldnt be too hard to remove if dry.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue
