I have had these wheels on my truck for about 5000 miles. I try to wash my truck at least once every two weeks. I recently washed my truck and started to notice that the appearance of my black wheels where not as great as it was when they where new. I have always just used soap and water and a small rectangular sponge like this http://www.autodetailingsolutions.net/86-409.html) Is there any wheel cleaner that i can use to help make the appearance better? I've also noticed I've been missing spots, so i bought a wheel brush from O'Reillys and I'm going to try that. Does anyone else have this problem with black wheels. They are just quit looking "glossy" and kind of has a whitish haze. I hope this makes sense to someone lol

Re: Black XD Monster wheels
I'm really not sure if they are clear coated or not. That's why I am so hesitant to start spraying away a cleaner on it.

The only thing I can find on the web is it just say that the finish is "matte black" idk i tried to get on the manufacturer's website but i can't even find an email address under the contact us section!

Re: Black XD Monster wheels
what's the mix ratio that you use? I mix really strong apc for tires to break down some of the old silicone from previous dressing applications. Might be scared that 4:1 apc would be a little strong. Thanks for the suggestion i might have to mix another bottle and try it out. Just curious as to what brush do you use?

Try a small section with something like NXT 2.0
