    Re: White Fiesta ST detailing.

I have a question about delluting gold class carwash. It gives different ratio than NXT carwash in the back. It says "pour 4 capfuls of product and add 4L of water...". this is double that NXT than ?
The ones here are always the same, 128:1. So could be 128ml water to 1ml soap, 128deciliterl water to 1 dl soap, or whatever measurement you chose.

I'm finally getting ready to do the full 5 step cycle to my pride and joy. I was thinking of not using DC1 + DC polish after clay, but instead just use SwirlX and then NXT 2.0 wax, cos in that case there's less elbow grease involved, cos by the time I wash, dry, clean around doors, etc. I'm completely wasted :-).
I'll use some ScratchX 2.0 if needed on some insulated locations.
as I understand SwirlX had polishing oils and also my car is pure white so I don't need alot of this stuff anyway, right?
    Yeah, sounds good.

BTW I'm thinking of doing 2 coats of wax (min 12hours apart) but I will definitely need to wash/clean the car before the 2nd application cos I don't have the garage to keep it clean overnight :-(, so should I just wash it normally with NXT 2.0 or...?
The 12 hours is for absolute best looks... up to you if you wait that long, or not.

Yeah, if the car is dusty/dirty, you'll want to wash, or use a quick detailer.

there are tree's (tree sap) and bloody birds here so I don't think a QD is a good idea after an hour or two that the car was on the open :-(. I'll just wash it.
The neighbours are starting to look at me strange, washing my car all the time this past 3 weeks cos I'm on vacation at home so I have some spare time .

      thanks mate.

QD or UQD is good for spot cleaning and primarily a substitute for a wash.

I think the car waxing thing is a little rarer over in Europe... never mind our extremes...

I have both but I'm afraid to use UQD (QD I'll use for claying) after a car was outside for a few hours, cos there's not only dust which I would be ok with, but also all kind of stuff that can scratch the paint.
            cheers.
