I had to have my hood replaced on my 2007 Chevy Equinox and was told not to wax it for 60 days in order to let the paint cure. I have heard of giving paint time to cure, but can it be waxed before 60 days???

You have to let the fresh paint fully out-gas, no wax for 60 days. -

If you have the itch just hit the hood with a pure polish only. The longer you wait to wax the better. I would go one step further and wait 90 daysComment
