dunno if this is the right thread but here goes. How come my #26 paste wax don't look so well compared to Goldclass when used in not so perfect vehicles. Also I've read that it has no cleaners then how come my pad gets dirty?

M26 Hi Tech Yellow Wax is a pure wax, by Meguiar's definition this means that this wax contains no ingredients with the intended purpose of cleaning the finish. M26 should only be used on finishes that are new or excellent condition, or have been previously cleaned and polished.
Gold Class Wax is a polish/wax which by Meguiar's definition contains a blend of different waxes plus rich polishing oils. It also contains a sleight amount of cleaning agents to insure a clean surface.
This is why you see a difference between the two products when using them on less than perfect surfaces.

As I understand it the packaging on the #26 paste changed form the classic cans to a plastic jar in 2001. If you find a metal can on a shelf somewhere grab it!
