  • APC and APC+ question

I had gotten a gallon of APC and mixed it 10:1 and it works great. With a recent ADS order I got a 32 oz sample bottle of APC+.

My question is if I dilute the APC+ 10:1, is it about the same as APC at 10:1? Since I have both now, should I make one stronger than the other and if so which one. Our cars are usually pretty clean, so they don't get really dirty (no kids, just wife and I, and no dirt roads etc).

    Re: APC and APC+ question

I have and use both for different purposes. I usually use APC on interiors and APC+ on exteriors. I have seen that APC+ defintiely cleans better than APC. Experiment a little and see what you like. I like to use APC at about 5:1 on exterios and APC at about 6:1 for interiors.

      Re: APC and APC+ question

APC+ Contains some degreaser in it and it also doesn't foam as much as APC. They both have their places. I keep a bottle of both APC and APC+ at 10:1 and 4:1. I like using 4:1 APC with a foaming sprayer on tires if they are dirty, or if they have previous tire dressing, APC+ 4:1 works great on cutting that old dressing off.

Experiment around and see what you like best.

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

      I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
      Remove swirls my friends.

        Re: APC and APC+ question

Big difference for me is what Andrew said, APC+ doesn't foam up as much as APC so I use it while cleaning carpets and fabric seats to be extracted.
