Re: Washing UNDERNEATH the car
It seems like automatic car washes would be experiencing ton's of lawsuits.

Re: Washing UNDERNEATH the car
Wheels are designed to keep water (among other thing) from getting to your rotors. Although it will happen to some (small) extent. But taking a pressure washer to piping hot rotors can and will warp them. Same goes for the engine, it can and sometimes will distort or CRACK an engine block, or other items.

Lets say you are driving in a hot day and it starts raining. The rotors will be hot and the rain water would get to the rotors.

Re: Washing UNDERNEATH the car
If you are talking about under the car I just use my Gerni Water blaster to foam up the bottom of the car then just water blast it off. This worked really well when I ran over some over some animal waste.

Don't forget to let the engine COOL, before doing the coin-op suggestion.
For winter, I just use water to rinse off the bottom of the car (from front, back, and both sides) as well as the wheel wells.

Re: Washing UNDERNEATH the car
Hit the coin-op place but bring along a set of ramps. Drive up onto the ramps and do as Murr said, just soap it up and rinse it off, very simple. I do this all Winter long to combat the salt up here!
