    hey whats up guys i need some help, i have a blue mitsubishi lancer and i recently clayed it and i noticed that some parts of my car and rougher then the rest and also noticed some blue on the clay. did i go through my clear or im i ovvereacting

    The clay wont go though the paint. You may have had something blue on it, or a single stage part?

    What parts are rough?

      my hood is the roughest part rest of the car is fine

        Most likely oxidised paint causing the roughness. Blue could be anything but most likely old polish/wax.

          i waxed it often but in the past yr maybe once or twice . how can i fix the oxidation?

            Oxidized clear coat would still be clear/white.

            Do you know anything about it being ss stage, or repaired at all? any chance of pics?

              all i know is mitsus dont have the best paint could be a ss coat . im just worried i stripped the clear off

                na u couldnt of stripped the clear off with clay...how does ur hood look?does it look like the rest of the car or does it look oxidized

                  The hood was probably resprayed or touched up without a clear coat on top.
