Applying UQD on glass???

Hi all, Can Ultimate Quik Detailer be apllied on glass?? I want to use it for water beading. Thanks in advance.

Yes no problem. Go for it!!!

When I give mine a quick freshen up I always spray nxt speed detailer over the whole car including windows/lights//rubber trims etc....

I normally use both UQW and UQD on the side and rear windows, no problems.

I normally don't use it on the windshied, only because in the past I've had problems with the wipers chattering and smearing. I use Rainx, and (guessing here) maybe the products don't play nice with each other.

But Is anybody else ever use UQD on the front Glass and is it good for water beading on the front glass??

I'm with Bill on windshield.

You can clean your windshield, clay it with lubricant, wipe off lubricant residue and use glass cleaner again. It's gonna be super smooth.

I tend to use RainX every so often on all my glass, with UQD/UQW put on in between.

I dont think fresh UQD on my glass is the same as fresh RainX, but its ok.

I dont seem to have problems, but glass, and esp wipers, seem to behave different on different cars.

The use of UQD on windshields is a very common practice. Just keep in mind that it really isn't leaving all that much behind, so with heavy rain and the action of the windshield wipers, you may not see much of a long range benefit.

Well, say I use RainX every 2 months. And the I wash the car every 2 weeks. So those weeks in between the glass would get UQD or UQW, kind of as a booster there also.

PS: I have attached some pictures on thread "How to restore my black color car?" and I will give some more when I finish detailing my car. So you'll now that everything work well or not.

Yeah, dont go crazy with the #84 till you do a test spot, look closely, follow it up with #80, etc and see the results.

So you say that m84 so abrasive that I should be carefull in polishing it? Ok then I'll do a test spot first. Thanks for the warning!!

Yes, the #84 may leave marks, and if it does, you had better make sure the #80 can remove them before doing the whole car.
