I'm restoring a 1973 Mercedes 450SL. The paint has become thin and almost invisible in places. Have heard Meguiars has a product that is tinted to the paint color and will mask the defective paint until I am able to repaint. Any idea?

Re: Paint Needs Rejuvination
There are products out there that will help. For instance Poorboys Black Hole is a Glaze which is very filler heavy, I think this is probably what your referring to.
Another rated filler heavy product is Super Resin Polish by Autoglym.
I think these two are possibly what your searching for.
