  • Fresh Paint - winter care

I picked up the wife's car from the body shop following repairs related to my pre-season interaction with a (rein)deer. As I understand, I may use polish but avoid sealants or waxes during the off-gassing period of 90 days. Would Ultimate Wash and Wax be eliminated from my washing routine? Should I avoid Ultimate Quik Detailer, too?

Not that there's any pressure to keep her car clean and shiny this winter after I banged it up!!

    Thanks,

I dont know about UW&W, probably frowned on though.

You can use #80 though, it has a little protection in it, could apply it often gently over that area, let sit a little, then remove.

It sounds like routine use of Gold Class Soap and #80 with say a red or gold LC pad (minimal pressure and medium arm speed and speed 3 on the PC) and an occasional spray of UQD and I'll be good to go for the 90 days waiting for the fresh paint of off-gas.

      Thanks for the advice.
