Not really experienced in art leather seats but I would assume you can still use normal leather cleaning products? Give that a shot. Logically if the leather products are mild enough to not harm leather, it should work for your art leather seats.
I read somewhere that someone cleans their art leather seats with baby shampoo diluted with water, and just wipe it clean after.
Hopefully someone in the forum can offer more tips.
I must confess I had to do some research on this as I was not familiar with the term "art leather". Virtually every site that mentions art leather is in India, which is no big shock I suppose since our OP stamford here is also in India.
From what I can determine, art leather is either a PU or PVC synthetic material so it's essentially vinyl. From images I came across, however, it appears to be very nice vinyl and there are custom shops in India doing some beautiful work with this material.
As a general rule of thumb we are always fine with you using our leather products on vinyl, but not the other way around. Our Gold Class Leather Cleaner/Conditioner has very light cleaning ability so with regular use it prevents the build up of dirt in the seating surfaces. The only thing we would really caution you on is colorfastness, depending on the dying process of the material. If you go with a light color, test the product in an inconspicuous area first to make sure it neither removes the dye or unevenly darkens the finish. If you're having custom covers made then we also highly recommend talking to the shop that's making them and ask for their recommendations.

Yeah I think I should go ask the guys at some shops. However, I got the art leather seats from VW itself which are amazing(charged me a lot though ) . So maybe it would be better if I ask them directly before trying any products on the seats. And as you rightly said, custom shops out here do some brilliant stuff with art leather seats. The market demand for such seats is booming out here in Asia. It took me 2 days just to decide which seats(pattern, color, feel, tone, etc.) should I go for
I will also try the Gold Class Leather Cleaner. I've heard its a brilliant product!
