Hi all,
I thought I'de share another UC success story. Thank you for all the helpful information I found here before I took on this project.
I used clay, UC, SwirlX, and Tech Wax 2.0. I go off road with my Hummer H3, but still enjoy a decent paintjob. After a trip on some very narrow trails and mud holes, and was shocked at how easily it scratched (this car is still fairly new to me). I'm very pleased with the results, though many of you would still be appalled. For a vehicle that isn't always on pavement, I think it turned out pretty well. Some of the deeper scratches are still visible in direct sunlight. I did this project by hand.
